To visit (in 2021):
Brisbane lands mammoth European loan exhibition from the Met – article by Nancy Kenny for The Art Newspaper

Brisbane’s QAGOMA has announced that a major loan exhibition of 65 paintings from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has been secured. The collection includes masterpieces by Titian, Rembrandt, Raphael, Goya, Vermeer, Cézanne and others.

Most of the works included in this incredible show rarely leave the Met. European Masterpieces from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, which will be accompanied by a publication, is being organised by the Met in collaboration with QAGOMA and Art Exhibitions Australia. At present, Queensland Art Gallery of Modern Art is the only venue planned for the show, so make sure to save the date.

The exhibition will run from 12 June to 17 October 2021.
